You think real estate is getting expensive, the world more crowded, and work more competitive than ever?
We haven’t seen anything yet.
This isn’t a local, city, state or country game anymore. It’s a world game. Welcome to the 21st century of globalization and the internet. In the next 5–10 years, we’re going to connect the remaining 50% of the world, the other 3.5B people to the internet… You’re not competing with just the person down the street or in another city anymore, you’re going to to be competing with the young girls and boys in India, Africa, China and many other developing countries with a just a smart device, a huge purpose, passion and drive to succeed for themselves and their family.
Every day (after deaths) we add a net new population of 200,000+ people to this earth. Although some of the developing countries are now tapering off, there is plenty of the world, most of the world, that isn’t and are growing rapidly. They want to provide the best for their families and will compete to live in the best cities and compete in the largest of companies.
Let’s not also forget computers and their accelerating growth which continues to disrupt jobs across the world.
We can’t expect our government to protect us from any of this, they can’t, because even the US is only 300 million people, which isn’t even 10% of the world population. Globalization is here, and the rest of the world is coming online fast.
